Background and Analysis:
The Community Livability and Public Safety Committee is responsible for advisory committee recruitment. The regular recruitment process for 2025 began on October 8, 2024, and ran through December 13, 2024.

At the close of the October-December recruitment period, the City received 58 applications for 20 vacancies across 10 established Council-appointed advisory bodies. The City allows advisory committee applicants to apply for multiple committees. In all, 43 individual community members applied to serve on advisory bodies.

Established Advisory Committees with open seats have reviewed their respective applications, and the bodies have recommended candidates for the Community Livability and Public Safety (CLPS) Committee to consider for interviews.

The CLPS Committee has reserved March 10 and 12, 2025, for interviewing candidates identified from the pool for further consideration to be recommended for appointment.
