Recommended Action
Move to approve the recommended sculpture and alternate(s) as determined by jury for the 2015 Percival Plinth Project, and forward to Council for final approval.

Issue:
29 proposals for sculpture on Percival Landing were received during the Percival Plinth Call for Art. The jury, consisting of Commissioners Hicks, Fairbanks and Hinton, will meet on May 12 to make a recommendation of up to 15 sculptures for the 2015/2016 exhibition. A presentation of the recommended sculptures will be made at the May 14 meeting. The Commission recommendation will go to City Council for final approval on May 26.
Options:
1. Approve the recommended sculptures, and forward to Council for final approval.
2. Do not approve recommended sculptures.
3. Approve a revised list of sculptures, as determined by the Commission.
Financial Impact:
$22,100 has been identified for the Percival Plinth Project, from the Municipal Art Fund.
