Deliberations on CFP Recommendation Letter to City Council

Issue:
The Planning Commission and several other advisory committees are responsible for making a recommendation to the City Council on the annual Capital Facilities Plan (CFP) update. A Preliminary 2013-2018 CFP prepared by staff was issued in July. The Commission's Finance Subcommittee is charged with reviewing the CFP and drafting a recommendation letter to be reviewed and finally approved by the full Commission.
The Subcommittee's final meeting took place after this agenda was published. The Commission will receive a copy of their draft recommendation letter via email on Friday prior to the meeting.
Finance Subcommittee Recommendation:
Review the draft letter, and propose any changes to be incorporated into a final letter for final review and approval at the September 24, 2012 meeting.
