Issue:
The City Council's annual goal setting retreat is scheduled for this coming Friday and Saturday, January 10-11. Approval of the proposed agenda will allow time for timely advance posting on the City's website. The proposed agenda is attached.

Background and Analysis:
Each year, the City Council meets for its annual goal setting retreat. In addition, to setting goals for the year, the Council will also determine intergovernmental assignments, Council Committee assignments, its annual calendar, and other pertinent information.
Ms. Kendra Dahlen, the retreat facilitator, has met with individual Councilmembers to gather topics and expectations for the retreat. Ms. Dahlen then met with the Mayor, Mayor Pro Tem, the City Manager, and other key staff to develop the draft. The proposed agenda is intended to provide an opportunity for the City Council's interests and issues.
