Issue:
On Tuesday, March 29, jurors Susan Aurand, Don Lovett and Vida Zvirzdys-Farler met for 1.5 hours to review 24 sculptures submitted by fifteen Washington state artists for 15 spaces for the 2016-2017 exhibition.

Staff will share images of the recommended sculptures at the April 14, 2016 Arts Commission meeting.

The Percival Plinth Project includes a community vote for the People’s Choice Award, which is purchased for the City’s collection.
Financial Impact:
From the Municipal Art Fund: Honoraria for each sculpture is $700, depending on which artwork is chosen by vote, the purchase price can be up to $10,000.
