Background and Analysis:
This winter, parks maintenance staff teamed up with the probation work crew to rehabilitate the hillside trail in Madison Scenic Park. This was a highly successful, low cost project that has been very well received by neighbors and other park users. The crew's efforts transformed this important neighborhood connection into a beautiful, barrier free path with 16 tons of river rock, 29 tons of crushed rock, and nearly 1000 new plantings.
