The initial public input process for the Parks Plan is complete. Staff will present an overview of feedback receive to date.

Background and Analysis:
To gather input for the Parks Plan, staff hosted a series of eight neighborhood meetings, a community meeting, an OlySpeaks on-line questionnaire, and hired a consultant to conduct a random sample survey. There was strong public participation for all four methods of input, and the initial public input process is now complete. Staff will utilize this input to write a draft plan this summer that will then go through a substantial public review process this fall.
Options:
1. Receive presentation on public feedback received to date for 2016 Olympia Parks, Arts and Recreation Plan.
2. Council could provide guidance as staff begins the Parks Plan writing process.
