·      Initiatives to make parking more friendly, such as free parking on Columbus Day and the twelve days of free holiday parking coming up December 12 - 24, 2013
·      Downtown business parking meter token program
·      Moving to a calendar year (January - December) annual renewal for the residential parking program
·      Piloting public electric vehicle charging stations

Neighborhood/Community Interests:
Downtown business owners and customers were engaged throughout the pay station replacement project. Staff will continue work with the Parking Committee (represented by downtown business owners, City Council and staff) to develop recommendations for parking improvements.
