Background and Analysis:
Inspire Olympia is dedicated to continuous improvement in service to participating cultural organizations and to the community at large. In preparation for the 2026-28 granting cycle the Board will discuss and recommend any needed changes to program funding goals, funding framework, or guidelines. Guidelines for the 26-28 funding cycle will be published by November 1.

Inspire Olympia equity goals and program outcomes to date will be discussed, to look for gaps in participation and address ways to increase positive program impact.

Financial Impact:
The Cultural Access Fund is derived from .01% of Olympia’s sales tax, equaling about $3 million/year. The Board’s discussion may impact the way the funding is re-invested through grants to local nonprofit cultural organizations.
