Background and Analysis:

Jewish American Heritage Month was created in 2006 by Presidential Proclamation. It is important to recognize the invaluable role Jewish people and organizations have made to our community, especially in support of equity and civil rights.

Climate Analysis:

This is not expected to impact carbon emissions.

Equity Analysis:

As white supremacist and other hate-based organizations have been increasingly active in recent years, antisemitic harassment and violence have grown. It is important to take visible steps to oppose this hate and support our Jewish community.

Financial Impact:

No financial impact.
