Background and Analysis:

The City currently provides funding to the CRC’s Downtown Ambassador programs.  City funds come from the General Fund, Parking Account, Parking and Business Improvement Area (PBIA), and Community Development Block Grant (CDBG).

In exchange, the City receives downtown outreach, Clean Team services, and staffing for the Downtown Welcome Center.

The CRC would like to expand its services, particularly the youth training aspect of the Ambassador Program.  Additional one-time funding ($9,000) from the City will help the program seek funds to diversify its income and expand program efforts.
