Background:
Based on Civil Service Rule V, Registers, Initial Eligibility Lists, initial eligibility lists were established with candidates who passed the Public Safety Testing written and physical exams. Fourty-two (42) candidates were invited to the phase 1 suitability assessment. Five (5) participated in the phase 1 suitability assessment, and five (5) passed. Five (5) candidates were invited to oral interviews, five (5) participated and five (5) passed the oral interviews.
Five (5) candidates were male. One (1) candidate was Hispanic/Lation, two (2) candidates were Two or More Races and two (2) candidates were White/Caucasian. The interview panel for four (4) candidates on 06/13/24 consisted of OPD Sergeant Jonathan Leavitt, OPD Officer Alex Wakins, and Ronald Parker, community member. The interview panel for one (1) candidate on 07/03/24 consisted of OPD Sergeant Jonathan Leavitt, OPD Sergeant Sean O’Brien, and Sarena Bellovich, OFD Cares Coordinator.
Findings:
Five (5) candidates passed the phase 1 suitability assessment and the oral interview and has been placed on the register in accordance with scores of 80.14-74.02
