Background and Analysis:
Four responses were received from the Request for Qualifications, publicized in The Olympian, Daily Journal of Commerce, Artist Trust and 4Culture. On November 22 at Noon, Chair Jennings, Commissioners Mark and Nelson, and staff Amy Buckler, CPD, and Ms. Johnson, OPARD, met to share their review notes and narrow the field to two interviews: Framework Cultural Placemaking, and MAKERS architecture and urban design, both of Seattle.
The consultants met for interviews on December 8, with the reviewers noted above. Chair Jennings will share their recommendation with the Arts Commission at their December meeting later that same day.
