Background and Analysis:

Global Accessibility Awareness Day was created to focus on making digital technology and content fully accessible. This includes things like making websites screen-reader compatible, using image alt text, choosing color coding that can be understood through colorblind vision or creating a color blind mode, having high contrast text at a readable size, or options for dyslexia friendly font.

Technology allows connection to wide range of services, community, employment, education, healthcare, and more. It is important everyone be able to access the tools that are becoming essential for modern life.
