Background and Analysis:

Governor Jay Inslee has proclaimed September 11, 2016, as 9-1-1 day in the State of Washington. September 11, 2016, is also the 15th anniversary of the 2001 terrorist attacks. 9-1-1 Day is an opportunity to recognize and salute the thousands of jobs done well each year by the public safety team composed of dispatchers and first responders in Olympia.
