Review and develop a recommendation of five to seven ranked Arts Commission member applications to the Community Livability and Public Safety Committee for interview.

Background and Analysis:

Currently the Arts Commission has three vacancies coming up when terms end in March. There are 18 applications to fill those positions. The Community Livability and Public Safety Committee has requested five to seven ranked applications to be recommended by the Arts Commission for consideration. Commissioners are asked to return the rubric to staff in advance of the January 8 meeting.

Recommendation of new Arts Commissioner candidates will not positively or negatively impact climate and the environment.

Applications are redacted and referred to by number to make the process more objective.
