Background and Analysis:
In May, staff briefed this Committee on the City’s progress in developing a long-term approach for sidewalk repair. Since then, staff have taken a policy proposal to the City Council’s Land Use and Environment Committee as well as the full City Council for feedback. One outcome of this work will be shifting sidewalk repair done with City resources to be near common pedestrian destinations, shown on the attached maps.
Staff will share the recommended policy with the BPAC and next steps.
