Background and Analysis:

Currently the Arts Commission has three vacancies coming up when terms end in March. There are 16 applications to fill those positions. The Community Livability and Public Safety Committee has requested five applications to be recommended by the Arts Commission for consideration. The Commission is using a review rubric approved at their January 11 meeting. Commissioners were asked to return the rubric to staff in advance of the February 8 meeting.

Climate Analysis:

Recommendation of new Arts Commissioner candidates will not positively or negatively impact climate and the environment.
