Background and Analysis:

When reviewing applications and making funding awards, the board should consider the priorities set in the Home Fund RCW as well as determined by the City Council:

Council asks that Permanent Supportive Housing be prioritized for at least the first 5 years of the Home Fund

Projects that are looking for gap assistance and have been in the pipeline should be reviewed as an urgent need request

Applications that are committed to housing previously homeless individuals should be prioritized

Neighborhood/Community Interests (if known):

Affordable Housing is high priority in the community

Options:

Award full funding amount to both or one of the applications

Award partial funding amount to both or one of the applications

Do not award full funding amount

Financial Impact:

$1,000,000
