Background and Analysis:
The Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) recognizes States and Local Governments for their Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR) which meet requirements of the award program. GFOA has recognized the City of Olympia for its 2012 CAFR. Olympia has received this recognition 22 times since 1987.
