This amendment pushes the total cost of the Professional Services Agreement with RW Droll for the Ward Lake Master Plan above $300,000 which requires City Council approval.

Background and Analysis:

On May 16, 2011 the City entered into a one-year professional services agreement with R.W. Droll for writing a master plan for Ward Lake Park.  The original contract amount was $280,863.  The original scope of work included an environmental baseline inventory, site analysis, master plan, 30% completion plans of master plan and a phase 1 site/grading plan.  Amendment #1 was $7,700 for water quality monitoring and an additional analysis of shoreline access options.  Amendment #2 was $10,116 for a photo-simulation, an exhibit map for the Washington Recreation and Conservation Office, and an analysis of a narrower trail option.  This third contract amendment is in the amount of $10,238 to provide a maintenace management plan, addition survey work, and an analysis of mitigation opportunities.  This would result in a new total contract amount of $308,917.
