Background and Analysis:
Currently, PBIA has nine active advisory board members. PBIA Board members nominated Monique Ossa and Cher Hobick to fill the two empty board positions. An election was held via an anonymous online survey sent out to rate paying members on August 6, 2025 and closed August 20, 2025. Twenty-one businesses responded, with a majority voting yes to the nomination of Monique and Cher. PBIA board members must make a motion and vote to finalize the election results.

Climate Analysis:
Selecting new PBIA Board members does not directly impact climate goals but could influence future decisions affecting sustainability downtown.

Equity Analysis:
Selecting new PBIA Board members is an opportunity to ensure broader and more equitable representation of downtown stakeholders. Choosing not to select new board members could reinforce existing disparities by limiting leadership opportunities to a small or less diverse group.
