The Olympia Police Department (OPD) will present a status report about crime activity, community outreach, and staffing.

Background and Analysis:
OPD meets regularly with the City Council and City Council committees to ensure the Council and the public are aware of the department’s accomplishments, activities, and challenges. In this update, OPD will present information about our data-driven and community oriented policing. OPD will also update the Council on current events at OPD including our efforts to maintain staffing levels and succession planning as the Department continues to experience a high rate of retirements.
