Project Information:
The Olympia Parks, Arts and Recreation Department (OPARD) is planning to install a public art piece, known as the Coast Welcome Figure, and associated landscaping at the Isthmus Park located at 531 4th Ave W. The project will be constructed on the NW corner of the park near the Olympia Yashiro Friendship Bridge (4th Avenue). This is a joint project that has been requested by the City Council and Squaxin Island Tribal Council, and is a key connection between Percival Landing and what will become the Deschutes Estuary.
