Background and Analysis:
At the May meeting, committee members shared feedback on a working draft of the Transportation Chapter of the Comprehensive Plan. That draft did not include the appendices. Attached is a link to the Engage Olympia page for this project, which has a link to the full first draft that includes the appendices.
Process
The text of the main chapter has not changed since the BPAC reviewed it at the May meeting. Staff will incorporate the BPAC's feedback, as well as the comments from the public and the Planning Commission, in the second draft. The second draft will be available in the fall, and the BPAC will have an opportunity to review it before the City holds a public hearing. After the hearing, we anticipate that the City Council will consider the chapter for acceptance.
Other feedback

On June 11th, staff posted the full draft chapter, including the appendices, to the project's Engage Olympia page. We also posted a survey, which closed on June 28th. The survey asked people to share their thoughts on the draft chapter. 71 people took it, and in general they seemed broadly supportive.
During July staff will analyze the feedback, and we will post a summary of it to the Engage Olympia page. At this meeting, staff will share preliminary results of the analysis.
