Background and Analysis:
At the January 9-10, 2015, City Council retreat, a brief update was provided by staff on numerous major planning projects proposed for 2015. Staff briefed Council later in the year on a timeline chart showing timelines for major City planning projects. This summary chart is posted on the City website, and updated as needed. The attached updated chart includes several updates, and has been expanded to include planned projects for 2016. Staff will provide an update on the projects’ timelines at this meeting.
Note that the timelines are subject to change as the projects move forward.

The planning projects listed are of high interest community-wide. Timelines for public engagement in the planning efforts are shown for all city-initiated projects.

All city projects shown are expected to be within existing resources. Implementation items recommended as outcomes in completed plans may require additional city resources and will be addressed as such in the plans.
