Background:
Based on Civil Service Rule V, Registers, Initial Eligibility Lists, initial eligibility lists were established with candidates who passed the Public Safety Testing written and physical exams. Fourty-one (41) candidates were invited to the phase 1 suitability assessment. Nine (9) participated in the phase 1 suitability assessment, and five (5) passed. Six (6) candidates were invited to oral interviews, five (5) participated and four (4) passed the oral interviews.
Four (4) candidates were male. One (1) candidate was Two or More Races and three (3) candidates were White/Caucasian. The interview panel for three (3) candidates on 5/6/24 consisted of OPD Sergeant Jonathan Leavitt, OPD Officer Adam Allison, and Robin Rosen-Evans, community member. The interview panel for one (1) candidate on 5/23/24 consisted of OPD Sergeant Albert Weinnig, OPD Officer George Clark, and Rance Leaders, community member.
Findings:
Four (4) candidates passed the phase 1 suitability assessment and the oral interview and has been placed on the register in accordance with scores of 80.14-74.02
