Background and Analysis:
BPAC has several items to address in the 2014 to 2015 year: the continuing Neighborhood Pathways program, the Bike Corridors Pilot Program, a referral from Council on sidewalk bike riding and skateboarding Downtown, advising on the Implementation Plan, reviewing the Sidewalk Program, as well as other routine items, such as advising on the Capital Facilities Plan and the Transportation Improvement Plan. The committee can discuss and make any necessary changes.
Neighborhood/Community Interests (if known):
Most of these projects have the potential to affect neighborhood and community-wide interests. Those interests will be described when each item on the Work Plan is addressed.
Options:
1. Accept the 2014 Draft BPAC Work Plan
2. Change and accept the 2014 Draft BPAC Work Plan
3. If the Work Plan is postponed the BPAC may miss the deadline to submit it to Council's General Government committee on February 18, 2014
Financial Impact:
The proposed 9 meetings this year instead of the prior year's 7 meetings will require additional staff time.
