Presenter(s):

Background and Analysis:

When the committee recommended the Bike Corridor pilot project route in 2015, it recommended that staff conduct a lot of public outreach when the project was built. Staff did that outreach in 2016. We have attached a report that summarizes both the outreach and what we heard from the public.

Staff will brief the committee on the report and next steps in the Bike Corridors program. Next steps will include prioritizing the order in which to build future Bike Corridors and making the pilot project permanent.

Options:

None - briefing only

Financial Impact:

The pilot project cost $346,000.  The cost for outreach was primarily staff resources and minor supply costs. Staff resources were not quantified.
