Shall the number of members be changed?
 
Committee Recommendation:
General Government Committee recommends the change from eleven to nine members on the Olympia Planning Commission.
 
City Manager's Recommendation:
Move to approve on first reading and forward to second reading the Ordinance amending OMC 2.100 to change the number of Planning Commission members from eleven to nine, as recommended by General Government Committee.

Background and Analysis:
General Government Committee previously reported its recommendation and rationale. Council asked staff to prepare an ordinance amendment based on the recommendation from General Government Committee.

- Number of currently appointed members will match ordinance requirements.
 
Options:
1. Approve the recommended ordinance.
2. Do not approve the ordinance.
