There are four new members of the committee. Staff will discuss committee rules and open meetings requirements to ensure a smooth transition.

Background and Analysis:
All City of Olympia advisory committees are required to follow the rules of procedure approved by Council's General Government Committee on July 22, 2008. Additionally, advisory committees meetings are subject to RCW 42.30, the Open Public Meetings Act.

The community is invested in advisory committee meetings being transparent and open to the public.

2. The committee may move to postpone the briefing to a later date
