Project Information:

Proposed addition to accommodate kitchen upgrade on a property that is listed individually on the Olympia Heritage Register and a contributing property in a historic district.

Overview:

This meeting will result in pre-submission advice for the applicant, who is proposing a single-story addition to the rear of the property to accommodate a remodeled kitchen (Attachment 1).  The property is listed on the Olympia Heritage Register individually and as a contributing property in the South Capitol Neighborhood Historic District (Attachments 2 & 3). 

 

Under OMC 18.12.090 (Historic Preservation: Heritage Register - Alteration and Construction), the U.S. Secretary of the Interior’s Standards for Rehabilitation will be used as a basis for this review (Attachment 4).
