Background and Analysis:
The advisory committee charter adopted by the Metropolitan Park District Board does not specifically state that the committee shall have a chair and vice chair. Citizen advisory committees to Olympia City Council typically do have a chair that is responsible for facilitating the meetings and a vice chair to fill in in the absence of the chair. Terms are typically one year in length.
