Background and Analysis:
On March 1, 2016, the City of Olympia and the Olympia Metropolitan Park District entered into an Interlocal agreement. The Interlocal agreement includes several specific commitments by the City regarding how park acquisition, development, and maintenance shall be funded and outlines the formation and role of a citizen advisory committee for oversight.
