Background and Analysis:
On November 11, 2016, the OMPD Board adopted the 2017 OMPD Budget. The 2017 budget is $3,346,646. This includes a $3,269,713 payment to the City of Olympia, $10,000 for Board expenses (insurance, audit cost, legal advertising costs, etc.), and $66,933 to establish a fund balance. The budget amounts to a property tax levy rate of approximately $.52 per $1,000 assessed value.
