Background and Analysis:
Philosopher was part of the 2016/2017 Percival Plinth Project. The artist, Kevin Au, approached staff about donating the sculpture to the City at the conclusion of the exhibition. The Commission recommendation will go to the City Manager for formal approval of the gift. The dimensions of the steel sculpture are
72" x 17" x 16,” and the work is valued at $2000.00.
