Discussion of Twinklefest 2017:  Format, sponsorships, inclusion, incentives and general planning.

Background and Analysis:

At the May 30, 2017, June 27, 2017 and July 11, 2017 Committee meetings, the Committee discussed the many aspects of the downtown Twinklefest Celebration and what initiatives encompass a positive event with maximum downtown business involvement and participation. 

 

The Committee is recommending the following timeline:

 

                     Ambassadors need all materials (lights, sign-up sheets, commitments, etc.) by mid-October

                     Begin date/lights up/sign up deadline: Wed, Nov 22

                     Photography deadline: Dec 1

                     Online voting: Dec 1-31

 

The Committee proposed further discussion at the July 25, 2017 Committee meeting. Topics include promotion and preparing information for dissemination  at the August 10 PBIA meeting.
