Background and Analysis:

On September 19, 2017, the City Council passed Resolution No. M-1791, which fixed October 19, 2017, as the date for public hearing on a proposal to vacate as a public thoroughfare a portion of the east-west right-of-way perpendicular to Kaiser Road SW. As stated in the September 19, 2017, staff report regarding the resolution, the correct date for the public hearing is October 17, 2017.

1.  Approve the resolution correcting the public hearing date.

 

2. Do not approve the resolution. Staff will restart the process, which will delay the public hearing on the vacation petition.
