Issue:
Status of two City-issued Requests for Proposals seeking a flower basket vendor and watering service agent. Update on PBIA partnership with the Olympia Downtown Association (ODA) for 2017 holiday marketing.

Background and Analysis:
The City published two Request for Proposals for flower basket vendors and watering service agents for the downtown area. No Requests for Proposals were received. The PBIA is moving forward and ordering flower baskets from a few selected vendors. The City Probation Services will be providing watering services for the flower baskets in 2018.
The PBIA entered into a partnership with the ODA for 2017 holiday marketing. PBIA Marketing Chair Dean will provide an update on the details of that arrangement.
