UAC Draft 2018-2019 Workplan and Officer Elections

Review the 2018-2019 UAC Workplan and consider nominations for Chair and Vice-Chair.

Background and Analysis:
The UAC reviews and forwards recommended agenda items to City Council each year for the April to March time period. Utility staff typically develop the draft plan with UAC input on potential topics.
The draft workplan as proposed by staff emphasizes four key areas:
• Sea Level Rise Response Plan
• Waste ReSources cost of service and rate analysis
• Storm and surface water finances
• Initial work on an update to the Wastewater Plan
• Overall Utility budgets, rates, general facility charges, and capital facility plans
These topics focus on Utility policy and finances. The work plan has several open time slots. UAC members are welcome to suggest additional topics for overall UAC consideration. The draft work plan is attached. UAC recommendations will be forward to City Council following the February UAC meeting.
Additionally, the UAC can consider nominations for Chair and Vice-Chair to take effect April 1, 2018.
