2018 LEOFF 1 Disability Board Policies and Procedures Manual Updates

Issue:
The 2018 LEOFF 1 Policies and Procedures updated language changes are being submitted to LEOFF 1 Board members for review and any additional revisions needed. Board members will discuss any revisions at the next LEOFF Board meeting.

Background:
The formal LEOFF 1 Policies and Procedures manual has not been updated since 2009. Although several policy revisions were approved by the board, communicated to the members and posted to the City website, this left the formal Policies and Procedures manual fragmented. The board will review the previously approved policy changes and consolidate the changes into the updated Policies and Procedures manual. Once all edits have been finalized, the board will approve and adopt the final 2018 LEOFF 1 Policies and Procedures manual. Staff will communicate the approved changes to the LEOFF 1 members, and the updated Policies and Procedures manual will be posted on the city’s website.
