Background
Pursuant to Civil Service Rule V, Section 2, Duration of Register, Chief Dibble is requesting the Lieutenant Promotional register originally certified on April 19, 2016 and extended for one year on April 19, 2017 be terminated.
Findings:
In the time since the extension of the Fire Lieutenant promotional register, the department has held another promotional exam and has an updated register to replace it with. Two of the candidates remaining on the register participated in the recent promotional exam and have updated scores on the new register that is requesting approval.
