Background and Analysis:
The City has reserve policies for various Operating Funds. Reserves address emergency, cash flow, and revenue volatility needs. End-of-year budget balances of Operating Funds do not carry over into the following year.
Operating Funds with reserve policies include the General Fund, Washington Center Fund, Parking Fund, Drinking Water Utility, Wastewater Utility, Storm Water Utility, Waste ReSources Utility and the Fleet Fund.
Staff will present information on existing Operating Fund Reserve policies.
