Background and Analysis:
The Civil Service Commission approved a fire marshal - assistant fire chief promotional process in July 2018. The process included a structured letter of interest and an interview.
Assessors included Lieutenant Matt Gattenbein, CP& D Director Keith Stahley, Communication Director Kellie Braseth, and Jim Kambeitz - City of Longview Fire Marshal.
Findings: One candidate passed the exam with a score of 92.5 and has been placed on the register.
