Background:
Based on Civil Service Rule V, Registers, Initial Eligibility Lists, initial eligibility lists were established with candidates who passed the Public Safety Testing written and physical exams. Twenty-Four candidates were invited to the phase 1 suitability assessment. Ten participated in the phase 1 suitability assessment, and three passed. Three candidates were invited to oral interviews, two participated and one successfully passed the oral interviews.
One of the candidates was female and Twenty-three were male. Sixteen were White/Caucasian, three were African American/Black, two were Asian/Pacific Islander, and three were Hispanic/Latino. The interview panel consisted of OPD Officer Bryan Henry, OPD Officer Eric Henrichsen, and Tawnya Smith, executive assistant to Senator King.
Findings:
One candidate passed the phase 1 suitability assessment and the oral interview and has been placed on the register in accordance with a score of 82.31.
