Background and Analysis:

The 2016 Parks, Arts and Recreation Plan called for an analysis of downtown park needs.  Staff has prepared on outline of what a downtown park plan might look like and would like to discuss the proposed outline with PRAC.

Neighborhood/Community Interests (if known):

Downtown parks would likely be utilized by most of the community so this is a topic presumably of interest to the community as a whole.  There is also a growing number of residents living downtown for whom downtown parks would be of particular interest since downtown is this population’s neighborhood.
