Background and Analysis:
The Volunteers in Parks (VIP) program has a long history of stewardship in Olympia parks. Volunteer tasks have evolved throughout that time into a system that reduces risk and maximizes contribution. PRAC members requested an introduction to VIP and an explanation of the current system.
