Background and Analysis:

When LBA Woods (the woodsy portion of LBA Park) was purchased by the City of Olympia in 2017, an extensive trail system had already been established by neighbors and visitors over many years. The majority of these trails have not been improved and a survey went out to the public in late September to gather feedback on what people want to see happen with the trail system.

The goals for this project:

Add structure to the existing trail network (define trails, establish hierarchy)

Add missing connections to make the trail network more cohesive

Add trail signage to help with wayfinding

Improve access to and through the park from surrounding neighborhoods

We will discuss the survey feedback up through the 8th of October. The survey will remain open through October 20, 2019.
