Background and Analysis:
Background and Analysis have not changed from first to second reading.

The City of Olympia continues to work to reduce the number of unsheltered individuals living along Ensign Road to improve public safety, travel safety and reduce conflicts between campers and surrounding businesses.

Providence St. Peter Hospital has recognized the impact of individuals living along Ensign Road and also recognizes the need to assist them as they transition to other living arrangements.

The donation of $100,000 was made by Providence St. Peter Hospital in September of 2021. A memorandum from Providence St. Peter Hospital Chief Executive Officer Darin Goss is attached.

Neighborhood/Community Interests:
Reducing the number of unsheltered individuals is of great interest to the community.

Options:
