Background and Analysis:
The City Manager will present his Proposed 2023 Operating Budget and formally open the Council’s budget process. Council will deliberate on the proposal with adoption of the 2023 Operating Budget before the end of the current calendar year as required. The budget calendar includes several Council Study Session to discuss and hear information on the proposed budget including public hearings on the budget as well as a public hearing on Ad Valorem Tax for collection in 2023. The Finance Committee will also hear and discuss budget information in their meetings in October and November.
